"YEP, THAT'S REALLY FUNNY!" print or notecard (PR46)
Meet Alpine! This good-natured mule shows her quirky personality as she seems to be chuckling at a joke, throwing back her head in a hearty laugh.
Alpine belonged to John, the father of my friend, Dusty Tolbert. When John was no longer able to care for her, Alpine moved to the Tolbert farm. She spent her later years there, where she had lots of company out in the pasture, and was spoiled incessantly by her caretakers.
KIds loved Alpine, and she never balked at being ridden. When a little donkey named El Bunco came to live on the farm, it was love at first sight for Alpine. El Bunco was about a fourth of Alpine's size; Alpine was 16 hands tall. The two were inseparable until the day Alpine passed away at the age of 32.
Unframed, unmatted, signed giclee print of an original oil painting by Mitchell, Indiana, artist, Janet C. Foster. Printed on watercolor paper. Available in 2 print sizes, and notecards (with envelope.) Shown matted and framed for illustration only.
