How did the Bunkhouse Studio get its name?

The cabin that houses this studio & gift shop was formerly the home of Tim & Dusty Tolbert. When they built their dream log house across the driveway, the cabin became a tack room & storage area for horse and mule equipment. With the exterior wood siding, the rustic look, and hitching rails that stood in the front yard, the building resembled a cowboy's bunkhouse.

A bedroom was transformed into a space for painting, and the "Bunkhouse Studio" was launched! My brother, Dave Foster, encouraged me to use that name for my business. So, when the gift shop opened, Bunkhouse Studio Gifts was naturally the right choice for its name.
