Smoke billows from the chimney of the gardener's home on a cold, wintry day in the village of Spring Mill.
The Gardener's cabin was built in the 1850's near Doans, Indiana. It was rebuilt in 1996 in the Pioneer Village of Spring Mill State Park, Mitchell, Indiana.
Early records show there was a cabin on the site at the park, which was used to dye yarn and fabric.
