"ST. NICHOLAS IN THE VILLAGE" print or notecard (PR33)
St. Nicholas carries an assortment of toys and gifts as he makes his annual journey to Spring Mill village.
The original structure to the left, known as the Upper Residence, was built 1817-1818 by the Bullitt brothers. One of the mill owners, Hugh Hamer, lived in the home with his family.
The structure which now sits on the site was built as a replica of the original, and was moved to Spring Mill State Park, Mitchell, Indiana.
The home which originally sat to the right, had been the home of the mill supervisor, Uriah Glover. The structure which currently stands there, or the Lower Residence, was built of salvaged logs.
Unframed, unmatted, signed giclee print of an original oil painting by Mitchell, Indiana, artist Janet C. Foster. Printed on watercolor paper. Available in 2 print sizes, and notecards (with envelope.) Shown matted and framed for illustration only.
